Next to be being “ultimate High performance”, the Genus saddle will let you adjust to your own comfort, has great fit and leg clearance, is super lightweight, is super strong due to it’s torsion bar and comes with a saddle cover for transport and saddle care system.
The “Dynamic torsion bar” (seen left between the red arrows) is an extra bar connection between the left and right side of the saddle under structure (saddle rail).
We designed the saddle with this extra torsion bar in order to make it’s overall structure more stronger and be prepared to take the loads of the rider when using “CT” (comfort trigger) system, as this put more stress on the saddle base and rails then usual and this torsion bar ensures the loads are spread move evenly throughout the structure and prevents the rail from spreading outward which sometimes causes the saddle base to bend out of shape (which in return is bad for saddle fit purpose) and the rails to fatigue prematurely.

Our saddles are unisex, as our own studies and experiences throughout the last 20 years has shown, and the ongoing study we initiated with the University of Stanford medicine has already shown, meaning that no person is the same in terms of saddle needs, and how they are build in terms of sex, posture, flexibility and soft tissue shape, it’s about the right shape and not to “box-fit”female or male riders into the saddle shape they supposedly “should” ride.
In terms of saddle fit we think it should be about the shape that fit’s the rider, for examples; we have seen with male riders that in many cases they would fit so-called female saddles much better and vice versa on a recreational but also on a professional riders level, that says something.
This also shows us that our body and in particular the pelvic region does not allow itself to be placed in a box, therefore at Ereit’s our job to offer suitable solutions for performance cyclists.saddle ergonomics
Advanced composite lay-up process
“Advanced calculated lay-up process” is our thorough way of the use of composites in the best possible way, in the end you can use composites on many ways but in order to achieve the desired result, a lot of calculating, field testing and laboratory testing proceeds the final result, at Erewe dig deep into our experience and resources available and try to think out of the box In order to go there where others are satisfied, today our “ACLP” processis used throughout a variety of Ereproducts such as rims, hubs and saddles.
In terms of the carbon lay up of our “Comfort Trigger”saddle, the carbon fiber lay-up decides how much we let the saddle flex and how much we want that to be adjusted by the rider, in this case we engineered this to be 10nm between the three lever positions of the “Comfort Trigger”this is how we “play” with the carbon sheet materials and designs of the layer sheets in order to arrive to the best result possible at the lowest weight.

Sometimes a quick note or a 10 second sketch can become a real product, in fact a huge innovationthat will change the way we use our performance saddles today, we just did that with creating the Ere“Comfort Trigger” system.
The “Comfort Trigger” is a patented system by Erethat let’s the rider adjust the flexibility of the saddle while riding, therefore adjusting the level of comfort or flexibility the rider requires in various situations such as changing road surface, an uphill climb or a required change in the dampening / comfort due to a long endurance ride.
With this system we are able to achieve a 10nm difference between the 3 adjustment positions the “Comfort Trigger” offers, letting you have a real choice when it matters to You.comfort trigger
Eliminating thick padding, adding comfort
Compared to some other saddle brands, who make saddle with thin and also thick foam pads, we atEre believe that thick foam pads can cause soft tissue problems when pushed inward when pressurized, this is why we only use a 5mm foam thickness on our saddles, but we can create much better comfort selection level through our “Comfort Trigger” system that allows to choose between 3 comfort levels while ridingand will not cause inward perineal pressure by thick foam pads being pushed inward.

Shapes and sizes
Our saddle line has two shapes, because when it comes to performance saddles in terms of “saddle fit” there are generally only two needs and that’s either a flat saddle or a curved saddle, this is because of the difference in flexibility between individuals, one person could be very flexible and another could need help in rotating forward due to shorter hamstrings or lower back inflexibilities, above illustrations show both cases, available in sizes:
